What's Included?
- Doorbell unit mounting — secure installation at the right height and angle for the best view of your entrance
- Wiring — connection to existing doorbell wiring, or new low-voltage wiring if needed (battery-powered options available too)
- WiFi configuration — connected to your network for reliable video streaming and notifications
- Mobile app setup — installed and configured on your phone so you can see live video, get motion alerts, and talk to visitors from anywhere
- Notification tuning — motion zones and sensitivity adjusted so you get alerts for people at your door, not every car driving past
- Walkthrough — we show you how to view live and recorded video, adjust settings, and share access with family members or employees
Wired vs. Battery-Powered
- Wired (recommended) — connects to your existing doorbell wiring. Always on, no battery to charge, rings your existing chime. Best for permanent installations
- Battery-powered — no wiring needed, installs anywhere. You'll need to recharge every few months depending on activity. Good for rentals or locations without existing doorbell wiring
If you have existing doorbell wiring, wired is the better choice. If not, we can run new wiring or go battery-powered — we'll recommend the best option for your situation.
Multi-Unit Installations
For businesses or properties with multiple entrances, we offer discounted per-unit pricing for multi-doorbell installations. Each unit gets its own setup with all alerts going to the same app on your phone.
How Long Does It Take?
A single doorbell camera typically takes 30-60 minutes to install and configure. Multi-unit installations are quoted based on the number of units and wiring complexity.
